Predatory Mites

• Our staff conducts quality tests on all predatory mites. 
• When we inspect the quality of our mites we check for mobility, the presence of all life stages, and sex ratio.  Phytoseuilus persimilis is purchased in bulk and packaged at our office according to the results of our quality testing. 
• All bottles of persimlis are packaged with 15% more product than is listed on the bottle label.

Beneficial Insects

• Side by side comparisons have proven that fresh beneficial insects perform better than insects that have been cold stored.  Our company only sells fresh beneficial insects. 
• None of our products have been exposed to temperatures below 8oC. 
• We guarantee quality for all of our products.

 
Beneficial Microbials

• Steinernema feltia (nematodes) help control fungus gnats which can transfer disease between greenhouse plants. 
• Nematodes also feed on shoreflies, diapausing spidermites and thrips pupae.

Sticky Traps

• Sticky traps include sticky cards for pest monitoring and sticky tape for mass trapping pest insects. 
• Blue sticky cards are recommended for thrips and yellow sticky cards are recommended for any pest. 
• Sticky tape is placed above plants along the length of crop rows or in hot spots for mass trapping in smaller areas.

Pheromone Traps
            Pheromone traps are mainly used to monitor for pests, such as the pepper weevil, that pose a high risk to crops.
